Some hate can help to stay away from the bottle.

In the first months of my sobriety journey, I developed a healthy hate against alcohol. By reflecting on everything alcohol did to me and my life, I started to feel disgusted about it. I hate the taste, the look and the industry of that drink.

When we think about buying a bottle as an investment, it is safe to say that it is the worst investment you can make. Even if you think this investment will bring fun and relief, that is simple not true and a lie directly from alcohol.

The money you will spend on alcohol doesn’t only cause physical and emotional problems for you, it will also be invested in advertising to get even more people hooked to the drink. Some businessman and breweries will make huge revenues and profits, while a lot of people will drink their lives away. How do you like this picture?

It starts at the big corporations as the big distributors, and it ends at the small selling points like kiosks, which have no problem at all making revenue with alcoholics and problem drinkers.

The breweries do not care about your problems and your life, all they care about is to sell as many bottles as possible. When you cripple your body or your liver it is your own fault, you didn’t drink responsibly. As soon as you give away your money, you are just a number in the balance sheet.

I also hate the taste and the smell of alcohol. Just imagine a party room in the morning after a big “happy time”. Just thinking about this smell makes me want to puke, it also reveals the true face of alcohol.

Before admitting putting toxic in their bodies, a lot of people would rather say they enjoy it and there is some super quality alcohol. I am sorry to burst the bubble, you were disguised by advertisement and bottle design.

If you have a different opinion about this, please don’t bother to tell me. This is only for alcohol haters!
