Curacao Report #2
Today I don’t want to write about beaches and Mojitos, today I want to write about a disturbing side of Curaçao.
Are we doomed because it is too hard for people to wait till they are at a garbage bin to throw their drink, or plastic bag, away?
On every road you have plastic and garbage lying around. The people must just throw it out of the window? It’s not like one little can here and there, it’s a lot, and it’s very ugly. Especially when you think about that tourism is one of the biggest economic factors here.
Who is to blame for this? Does stuff like this ever change? Are we going to chill on plastic beaches in 10 years?
It is really sad to see that all of this nature beauty gets treated like this. I hope there will be some concepts to change that around in the future here.
